A Sacristan is different from Altar Server

Being a SACRISTAN is a continuous journey for achieve Holiness...

ALTAR SERVING means merely doing your Duties.

a Sacristan in a very bookish way is the person in-charged of the Sacristy.

but what way we distinguished the quest on achieving both.

being a Altar Server is, entering the Ministry of Altar Servers, having Formations, Doing Altar Service, wearing Soutane & Surplice or Alb, undergoing a Investiture, Learning the Most Divine Liturgy, Memorizing terms and Prayers and the like...

but being a SACRISTAN is that:
doing your Service outside the Church;
Living Your Faith;
Sharing Your Life to others;
doing both Right and Must;
following your Conscience;
being a Servant-Leader;
being a Example;
knows how to defend the Catholic Faith;
Promotes Priesthood;
Respects the dignity of the Most Divine Liturgy;

and most of all knows:

"Why did you become a Sacristan?"
and
"Who is your Lord"
